We are thrilled to share that Driver

will have its U.S. Broadcast premiere on POV's 38th season on PBS this Labor Day, September 1, 2025

This is very exciting news for us.

We began filming for this documentary with Nesa Azimi in 2018

She and her crew to rode - along and experienced firsthand the invisible world of long-haul truck drivers and followed our advocacy journey over the course of 3 years.

Over 700 hours of film was taken of our lives during a very difficult period that that includes the "trucking lifestyle" and juggling our ongoing work to go up against the powerful trucking lobby establishment in order to try and raise awareness and implement change to the low standards in trucking that have created an environment ripe for wage theft, debt bondage, labor abuse, sexual assault, public safety and highway safety concerns.

The feature length 90-minute film "Driver" premiered June 2024 at the Tribeca film festival.

It has since been on a national film festival tour that includes screenings in Washington D.C., Ashland, Oregon, Camden, Maine, Buffalo, New York, Nashville, Tennessee, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Palm Springs, California, Sedona, Arizona and New Hampshire, receiving wonderful reviews.

The film now has a new home: POV PBS, POV (a cinema term for "point of view") is television's longest -running showcase for independent nonfiction films. POV premieres 14-16 of the best, boldest and most innovative programs every year on PBS. These films are created by visionary filmmakers that offer profound insights into pressing social issues. The full slate of films for the 38th season can be found HERE:

It is our great honor for that "Driver" has been selected for the 38th season for POV and that its U.S. Broadcast premiere has been so appropriately selected to be this Labor Day, September 1, 2025.

REAL Women in Trucking is forever part of Trucking HERStory - no matter what!

We wish to thank all of our members, friends and supporters who "Know The Difference"🚛and have followed our journey.

That story about the driver’s PBS premiere is truly inspiring proving that unexpected paths can lead to recognition. When I was managing a heavy semester, I leaned on a Business studies exam support service via Take My Online Exam Pro. That support helped me stay focused on both my ambitions and assignments.

Such a powerful story! It’s great to see real experiences like this finally getting the attention they deserve. It reminded me how important it is to share untold stories — whether through film or even working with a book publisher in Dubai to bring them to life in print. Huge congrats to everyone involved!
