Medical waste transport is a highly specialized and highly regulated field.
Previous experience in the medical field and/or hauling medical waste is a plus. Experienced Qualified CDL Drivers who are tired of being over the road are preferred applicants for this unique position. These positions require a DOT physical examination that determines the driver to be physically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle, though the equipment is non-CDL driver required. (< 26, K).
Hiring Areas and Start Times:
Eastern Seaboard region (Pennsylvania - Florida) October - November
Midwest region (Michigan - Ohio - Indiana - Illinois) November - December
Home Daily or Stay in a Hotel (Per Diem Rate)
Uniform is Provided
Compensation: $22-$26.00 per hour + benefits and 401k.
Pay schedule: bi-weekly.
Driver will take home vehicle (Transit Van)
Job Summary: Safely transport medical waste from within the identified geographical region to a designated treatment facility.

Operate at all times in a manner that is compliant with Keystone policies, relevant traffic laws, and regulatory requirements related to the handling and transport of medical waste products.
Primary Duties:
Safely operate Keystone vans/box trucks (<26k)
Respond in a timely manner to pick-up orders
Interact with customers and others in a courteous and respectful manner
Maintain a professional appearance
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles
Immediately communicate to management issues with any transaction
Immediately communicate to management issues with any equipment
Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Complete a Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report at the conclusion of each shift
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork
Drivers must be able to lift up to 50lbs and/or use a hand truck for loading/unloading. Cargo consists of waste bins boxes, sharps containers and wheelie bins. All cargo must be fully secured with straps at all times.
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and is subject to drug and alcohol testing as outlined in Keystone’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
